me =]

I thought it would be cool to show you my two sides. The first picture is me in drag. This is what I feel comfortable in. My family doesnt like when I paint on facial hair, so the only time I do is when I want to go to a club dressed in drag. And since im not a clubber, i rarely do that. And my style.... is unique. I dress the way I like to :). The second picture is just a picture of me with my hair down. Believe it or not, I do wear it down sometimes. When I want to "dress up" for an occasion. But when I do, I feel uncomfortable. Dying to just put it up.
Well, I hope you enjoyed these pictures. :)

  2. Very unique tara.. other may call u just plain wierd but if ur comfortable for who you are and what you stand for that all that matters. It sucks when your own parents judge or hate something you do, but they dont understand it all. remember what i said being open minded about everything, even if it hurts you it will make you strong in the longrun. plus u rather hear it from ur parents then some random person

  4. I love these pictures. You can totally pull off both looks. I love your long hair..it makes me jealous...If it makes you feel any better, I used to have long hair and I could not handle keeping it down either...hence why I chopped it all off. I understand why you would feel more comfortable dressed like you are in the first picture. It is cool that you can switch around your style.

  5. miguel, its not that my parents judge me or hate when i dress in drag. with an open mind i can see where they're coming from. they just rather not see me walking around with a tie on and painted on go-t. lol. in their eyes i will always be there blue eyed, blond hair, little princess. i have been out for 5 years and they accept me, but when it comes to total drag, they rather not see it. but i will always know they love me regardless :)

    thanks for the nice comments :)

  8. hey tara
    its your sister amanda, even though i know both sides to you, i feel as though there is just one. It is the way you feel that day. I dont think it is needed for you to draw facial hair because you are beautiful and yourself with out it. You dress the way you feel comfortable and thats what makes you unique. Ill always remember the days at the store where you would want to be in the boys section for you athletic shorts, or you playing basketball while i try walking in mom's high heels. You are yourself and dont care what people think about you and i love that about you. You showed me how i can be myself and walk with my head high for being who i am not caring what other people say or think. i love you for who you are and you will always be my best friend and my sister.

  9. I think this is one of the posts that had made the biggest impact on me throughout this year, it amazing to see the two sides of you. You should be able to go out and feel comfortable with the way you look and dress. I love the picture of you with your hair down, it shows us a side that we don't get to see and I think that's great.

  10. This is an amazing post. It reminds me that most everyone has two sides of themselves... the side they show, and the side they WANT to show. Keep being yourself!! I know you will.

  11. This is awesome! I have friends who are gay and I think your blog would really inspire them. It's not often these days that people actually speak their mind and forget about what other people think. I think you will definitely help people to understand that there is nothing wrong with not being straight or the "norm".
